Kubernetes

Fluid environments are backed by a hardware based, managed implementation of Kubernetes. Whilst Fluid doesn’t expose the underlying Kubernetes cluster, it does allow you to perform certain operations on the underlying cluster (such as configure BGP) and allows you to deploy nested Kubernetes cluster. A Nested cluster is an isolated environment that looks and feels like a Kube cluster however shares resources with the base Fluid environment. This allows for thing like services and Endpoints to be advertised with minimal configuration and global access to network and storage constructs from within your Fluid environment.

Fluid’s Kube clusters are simple and and fast to create and allow for global access via Fluid Cloud. That is, when you create a Cluster, you can immediately access it from anywhere in the world, even if you’re environment lives behind the firewall.
